The new year has just begun and I can already see that this might be a very exciting one.
First, I’d like to mention that this new version of my personal web appearance went online today. If you count the different versions alltogehter it is No. 5. Some of the older ones can still be viewed online (if you are lucky). After getting some experience with Typo3 about 2 years ago and trying to set up a website with some sort of blogging system, I figured out that WordPress is the way to go this time. I truly hope that I will have the time to extend it with the additional features that I have in mind.
The next big event I am looking forward to is Web Directions North, a web developer conference which takes place in Vancouver, British Columbia. And I am going. As I have written long ago, I really fell in love with Vancouver. Second reason, I think it’s important to stay up-to-date of what is going on in the web development “scene”, and this conference seems the right place to be. Besides, I think it might be great to get to know the famous people from the community, like Dave Shea, Derek Featherstone or Molly Holzschlag just to mention a few. The line-up of speakers is truly amazing. I think this is gonna be a good one.

Thank you for your comment. I think you guys a really doing a great job by setting up such events, I can just imagine how much work that must be.
It’s going to be a pretty long trip for me but in the end I believe it will be worth it. Every inch and every penny
klaus, pass bloß auf, die kanadischen grenzbeamten sind ganz seltsame. ich hab da komische erfahrungen gemacht. nein, spaß beiseite, ich freu mich für dich, dass du da hinfliegst! wann findet das ganze denn statt? und dann auch noch in vancouver, nicht schlecht. bleibst du länger dort?
