Debugging IE

Oh, don’t all Web Developers love IE, especially our good old friend IE6? You do, don’t you? And why is that? Because without the quirks of IE6, most of us would sit around at our desks at the office, glancing at each other, surprised by the fact how easy development could be if there would only be Firefox (and Firebug, of course). But that isn’t the case. So instead of taking half the week off because everything works fine in Firefox or any equivalent standards-compliant browser, we need to do overhours to make things work in IE. Upgrading Wordpress

In times where companies are spending millions on security to keep their data protected from all the shameless hackers out there, it is probably more important than ever to keep your software up-to-date. Even though I only run this small blog, I think it is important to stick to these upgrading habits. Back in June this year I read on Dave’s blog what had happened to him and this illustrated clearly to me how important security, backups and updates are these days.
