Editor Cheat sheets
I am a big fan of Cheat sheets. Having all important commands, functions or instructions how to get started with a particular technology on one page can be quite handy. However, most cheat sheets produced in the webby world tend to get quite bloated and having A4 sheets of paper full of text printed in a tiny font size kinda defeats the purpose of a cheat sheet in my opinion. They should be small (as I like to stick them on my computer monitor) and should contain the most important functions and commands. Not all of them.
Because I could not find handy ones on the interwebs, I decided to put together my own little cheet sheets for the editors I use, which are Eclipse, Komodo Edit and vi. Find alpha versions of those 3 cheet sheets below:
- Eclipse Cheat Sheet (Aptana Shortcut key Quick Reference, Eclipse Keystroke Cheatsheet, Eclipse 3.0 keyboard shortcuts)
- Komodo Edit Cheat Sheet
- vi Cheat Sheet
Feel free to download them. And print them. And stick them on your monitor. Hope you find them helpful.
