By Stefan Klein
A book written in German about “time”, how we perceive it, how we live with it.
Stefan Klein has split his book into 3 parts, where part 1 talks about how we experience time. He explains how precise our body clock really is, and why time is flying when we have our happiest/most exciting moments.
In part 2 he talks about how we can make the best of the time at our disposal and why it is so hard sometimes to keep focussed on that one task that we are trying to accomplish. He quite often brings examples from Asian cultures and how they balance their hectic life in e.g. Tokio.
Finally, in part 3 he talks about what time actually is and how time was approached by one of the most-experienced scientists in that field, Albert Einstein. Klein concludes with a list of six steps towards making better use of our time.
Throughout the book the author gives interesting insights as to how we deal with time as the “4th dimension” as Einstein called it. His tips on how we can make better use of the time given to us on Earth are very valid and I find them very useful.
A very interesting and enlightening read, not only because the topic is presented from a more down-to-earth perspective rather then from a scientific point of view. And great tips on living a richer life, despite the hectic and stress these day.
